Carol Ross Joynt is the author of the memoir "Innocent Spouse," which was excerpted exclusively in Vogue magazine and launched on the Today show, she won the Emmy for "best interview" for producing a Charlie Rose prison interview with Charles Manson; she is the producer and host of the long-form interview program "The Q&A Cafe," where she has interviewed some 400 personalities and newsmakers; she is a social media content provider. Her network and film producer/director credits include “The CBS Evening News,” CBS News “Nightwatch,” ABC News “This Week,” ABC News “Nightline,” NBC News, CNN “Larry King Live,” MSNBC “Hardball,” and “Charlie Rose;” and films and videos for the National Gallery of Art.
As Vice President for Communications at the FP Group, the publishers of Foreign Policy, she supervised media training for the editorial staff, managed and enhanced staff media presence; and supervised the build-out and launch of FP's podcasting platform.
As Editor-at-Large of Washingtonian magazine she wrote hundreds of articles and is still a contributor.
